Taiwan 2003 Public Holidays Announced

The Central Personnel Administration has released the official calendar of official non-working public holidays in Taiwan for the upcoming calendar year 2003.

As usual (2001-11-26 and 2000-12-01) these public holidays are subdivided into many categories: Weekends, Statutory and general national holidays, Particular Parties' Days, Makeup holidays, and days in lieu ("Adjusts to holiday" and "Adjusts to work" dates).

The aforementioned announced 2003 public holidays in Taiwan will see the annual Lunar New Year public holidays run from January 31 to February 5, inclusively.
