Uzbekistan Declares 2002 End of Ramadan Public Holiday

The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan has issued a resolution declaring Friday, December 6, 2002, as a public holiday for the Id al-Fitr Muslim festival marking the end of Ramadan.

The declaration of Muslim public holidays, and their date, is usually done on a case-by-case basis in Uzbekistan (2002-02-18 and 2001-02-23).
