The Marshall Islands have, once again, amended the legislation which governs the list and dates of non-working public holidays in the Marshall Islands.

As per the aforementioned "P.L. 2005-35" which amends the "Public Holidays Act 1988 [1 MIRC Ch 9]" the name of the March 1st annual non-working public holiday is to be changed to "Nuclear Victims Remembrance Day".

Recall that, 2 years ago (2003-04-11), the "Public Holidays Act 1988 [1 MIRC Ch 9]" had already been amended to change the name of the March 1st annual non-working public holiday by having the word "Victims" replaced with "Survivors".
