Chile's Pinochet Dies - No National Mourning

Former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet, died at 91 on Sunday, and will not have a state funeral or national mourning.

The Government of President Michelle Bachelet has urged Chileans to demonstrate peacefully, but a security plan was in place nonetheless for reactions to the former general's death. The Secretary-General of the Government, Ricardo Lagos Weber, earlier said the administration would make sure that "a climate of calm remains in the country".
