Nepal Asked To Declare Public Holidays For Indigenous Nationalities

Nepal's HINCC is demanding that 52 representatives from the Karnali, rural and mountainous region should get representation in the interim legislature, to appoint one representative each from the indigenous organizations affiliated to the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities, and to declare public holidays on local festival days.
The Himali Indigenous Nationalities Coordination Council (HINCC) is an organization advocating interest of people living in Karnali region of Nepal.
