Philippines Confirms Special Public Holidays on June 11, November 2 and December 24

The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) confirmed that June 11, November 2 and December 24 would be special public holidays, but that Tuesday, June 12, would be regular working day nationwide.

The original announcement had been made in Proclamation No. 1211 (19-Jan-2007), signed in Manila on January 10th, by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (PGMA) and declared Saturday April 7, Monday June 11, Friday November 2 and Monday December 24, 2007, as special non-working public holidays.
