Turks and Caicos Election Public Holiday

The Government Information Services (GIS) of the Turks and Caicos Islands has announced that Friday, February 9, 2012, had been declared a one-off non-working public holiday in the Turks and Caicos Islands, on account of the parliamentary elections that will be held on that date.

The aforementioned February 9 elections were announced earlier this month (2007-01-18).
