The date for Bhutan's upcoming General Elections has been set for Monday, March 24, 2008.

The Electoral Commission of Bhutan has confirmed (24-Oct-2007) that this date had been declared a public holiday in Bhutan, as was done in the past (03-Jul-2007, 27-May-2007, and 02-May-2007), and as more recently stipulated by Bhutan's Election Bill (01-Sep-2007).
