The Federal Government of Brazil, through its Ministério do Planejamento, announced the official list of 2009 public holidays in Brazil.
This list confirms the dates of the Easter-related public holidays and otherwise confirms the dates of fixed-date public holidays.
The one noteworthy point is that the Dia do Servidor Público (Civil Servants' Day) which is in theory on the fixed date of October 28, will again, as it was in 2007 and 2008 (2007-01-05 and 2007-12-28) be moved to another date (Monday, October 26, 2009).
