Isle Of Man Re-Considering Date Of National Holiday

The House of Keys have voted to give Onchan MHK, David Quirk, leave to introduce a private member's bill to ensure that Tynwald Day is held on July 5th, even if it falls on a weekend.

Currently, if July 5th falls on a Saturday or Sunday then the Tynwald Day public holiday is moved to the following Monday.
