Romania To Consider Adding Dormition Public Holiday

His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, announced that he had filed a request with the Romanian Parliament to make August 15 one of the Romanian legal public holidays.

The announcement was made during the recent feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God (August 15, aka. Assumption).
