The government of Jordan has confirmed that, in addition to Monday, November 30, 2009, it had also declared Sunday, November 29, 2009, a public holiday.
In principle, the official public holidays in Jordan, for the period of 2007-2011, were specified a few years ago by a government decree (2007-02-16), but in practice, there are often last-minute changes to that forecast (2009-09-10 and 2009-05-15).
