Earlier today, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Igor Chudinov, signed a governmental resolution declaring Monday, May 4, 2009, as a one-off non-working bridge public holiday (Tuesday, May 5, 2009, is already an annual public holiday).
In concordance with the "Law On The Rational Usage Of Days Off And Holidays", and to compensate this extra non-working holiday, the day of Saturday, May 16, 2009, was declared a regular working day.
