The President of Cameroon, Paul Biya, has declared Monday, May 24, 2010, as a one-off public holiday in Cameroon on account of the upcoming May 20 commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Cameroon's independence and reunification.
Recall that May 21 is the annual Independence Day public holiday in Cameroon.
