Jordan Announces 4-Day End of Ramadan Public Holidays

Jordan's Prime Minister, Samir Rifai, has issued a communiqué announcing that all ministries, departments and public institutions would observe a 4-day public holidays from Thursday, September 9, until Sunday, September 12, 2010, on the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al Fitr.

The aforementioned announcement represents one additional public sector holiday as compared to the dates announced by former Prime Minister, Marouf Bakhit, for the public holidays in Jordan for the period of 2007-2011 (16-Feb-2007).
