Jordanian Prime Minister, Samir Rifai, has issued an official statement declaring Saturday, December 25, 2010, as an official non-working public holiday on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas Day holiday.

Although, almost 4 years ago (16-Feb-2007), Jordan's Prime Minister, Marouf Bakhit, had listed official holidays for the period from 2007-2011, a last-minute confirmation of Jordanian religious public holidays is often required (03-Dec-2010).
