The government of Macedonia has declared Friday, November 19, 2010, as the 6th Tree-Planting national non-working public holiday.

This additional non-working public holiday will be compensated by the Saturday, November 27, 2010, having been declared a regular working day.

This is the 6th such public holiday (2010-03-28, 2009-11-12, 2008-11-18, 2008-03-12) since 2008. Usually one is held in the spring and one in the fall (although the spring 2009 tree planting day was held on a Saturday).
