Nigeria Declares Public Holiday Today In Plateau State

The Commissioner of Police in Nigeria's Plateau State, Ikechukwu Aduba, has announced that today, Friday, October 8, 2010, had been declared a one-off regional public holiday.
Commissioner Aduba added that the public holiday was declared to allow citizens go out en-mass to welcome and honour President Goodluck Jonathan on his two day official visit to the state.
