Sudan Announces Christmas Public Holidays

The Sudanese Council of Ministers has announced that the upcoming public sector holidays for Christmas, would run from Friday, December 24, until Sunday, December 26, 2010, inclusively.

As per the aforementioned communique, public sector employees are expected to return to work on Monday, December 27, 2010.

Recall that, 2 years ago (2008-01-09), following similar, announcement by Khartoum State (2008-01-05). the national government of Sudan announced that weekends in Sudan would henceforth be Fridays and Saturdays.
