Afghanistan Public Holidays November 17 and 19

Afghanistan's President, Hamid Karzai, has declared Thursday and Saturday, November 17 and 19, 2011, as one-off public holidays on account of the upcoming 4-day Loya Jirga being conducted in Kabul.

Last year (01-Jun-2010), Afghanistan's President, Hamid Karzai, has similarly declared Wednesday and Thursday, June 2 and 3, 2010, as one-off public holidays on account of the peace jirga being conducted on those 2 days.
