Spain's autonomous region of the Balears has finally gazetted its official calendar of 2012 regional and national public holidays (calendario laboral).
The official calendar of 2012 regional and national public holidays for Spain's autonomous region of the Balears had been announced earlier this year (2011-05-21), but for some unknown reason the calendar of 2012 regional and national public holidays in the Balears was not officially gazetted until this week.
The gazetted list confirms that for the fifth consecutive year (2010-12-19, 2009-06-21, 2008-08-02 and 2007-08-04), Easter Monday will be one of the autonomy's public holidays, as will the March 1st, Día de Baleares, regional public holiday.
As was the case 2 years ago (2009-06-21), the announced list of 2012 public holidays did not include December 26, Saint Stephen's (San Esteban), as one of the public holidays in the Balears.
