Gambia Declares February 18 Public Holiday

Gambia's president, Yahya Jammeh, has declared Friday, February 18, 2011, as a public holiday in observance of the 46th Independence Celebration of the Gambia.

In reading the aforementioned announcement it is interesting that the President of the Republic of The Gambia, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya AJJ Jammeh, GMRG, is also a FAAICL (Fellow of Australian Asia Institute for Civil Leadership).
