The government of Iraq's semi-autonomous Province of Kurdistan has announced a 4-day period of official public sector holidays for all official departments from Friday, March 11, until Monday, March 14, 2011.
Last week (2011-03-03), the government of Iraq's semi-autonomous Province of Kurdistan had already decided to extend the annual, March 5, regional public holiday commemorating the 1991 Kurdish uprising, for a second day, Sunday, March 6, 2011.
