Macau Declares Additional 2012 Public Holidays

Macau's Chief Executive has announced 6 additional, one-off, public holidays (Special Grant for exempt from work by The Chief Executive) for 2012.

This announcement ("Special Grant for exempt from work by The Chief Executive on 22 July 2011"), follows a trend started a few years ago (2010-03-31, 2009-06-30, 2009-03-27, 2004-05-21, 2006-01-16, 2007-01-31, and 2007-03-13), and was made under the purview of the "Decree Law No. 60/2000 on Public Holidays".
