Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has announced that Tuesday, November 1st, 2011, would be a non-working public holiday for members of the Catholic community in Macedonia.

The above is in line with the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy's official list of 2011 public holidays in Macedonia, as published last fall (2010-10-22), and, more generally with the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette, and br.21/98 7.18) as last amended in 2007 (2007-02-08).

Note that the official list of 2012 non-working public holidays in Macedonia, usually announced before the end of October (2010-10-22 and 2009-10-26), has still not been released by the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
