Moldova Declares March 7 Public Holiday

The government of Moldova has declared Monday, March 7, 2011, as a one-off bridge public sector holiday to link the weekend to the annual March 8 International women's Day public holiday.

As is traditionally the case (2010-08-10, 2009-12-04 and 2008-12-10) this one-off bridge public holiday will be compensated by Saturday, March 12, 2011, having been declared a regular working day in Moldova.
