Serbia Announces April-May Public Holidays

Serbia's Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs has announced the dates of the upcoming Easter and Labour Day public holidays.

Referring itself to the "Law On State And Other Holidays In The Republic Of Serbia", the Ministry's statement specifies that the upcoming Easter public holidays will be celebrated from Good Friday until the second day of Easter, which is to say that the period of non-working days will be from Friday, April 22, to Monday, April 25, 2011, inclusively.

The communique goes on to state that the upcoming May Day public holidays will run from May 1 to May 3, 2011, inclusively.
