The Conselleria de Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya has published the list of 2012 public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain's Autonomous Region of Cataluña.

The aforementioned list of 2012 public holidays in Spain's Autonomous Region of Cataluña is contained in the "EMO/80/2011, de 27 de abril, por la que se establece el calendario oicial de iestas laborales para el año 2012" (DOGC de 11 de mayo).

For the calendar year 2012, the Autonomous Region of Cataluña has declared regional public holidays on September 11 (Fiesta Nacional de Cataluña) and on December 26 (San Esteban).

The 2011 regional public holiday for Whitmonday (Lunes de Pascua Granada) was not repeated in 2012, and neither was the June 24 (Fiesta de San Juan) regional public holiday, as this date falls on a Sunday in 2012.

As per custom (2010-05-31 and 2009-06-05), Cataluña is the only Spanish region that does not observe Maundy Thursday as a public holiday, opting, instead, to declare Easter Monday (Pascua Florida or Pascua de Resurrección) as a regional public holiday.
