The president of the government of Spain's autonomous region of Ceuta has ruled-out the addition of a regional public holiday for the End of Ramadan (el final del Ramadán) in its list of official public holidays for the calendar year 2012.

The aforementioned announcement was made during the government's current debate on the subject of the 2012 Calendario Laboral.

Although the list of official public holidays for the calendar year 2012 has not yet been confirmed, the minutes of the last meeting of the government of Spain's autonomous region of Ceuta indicates that the list will be the same as last year (2010-11-01) with the recently-added (2010-09-23) Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday being observed on Saturday, October 27, 2012.
