The Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukraine has issued a resolution declaring Monday, March 7, 2011, as a non-working public holiday, to link the weekend with the upcoming, March 8, annual Women's Day public holiday.

As is usually the case (2008-12-10, 2007-11-29, and 2005-12-23), this one-off bridge public holiday is compensated by Saturday, March 12, 2011, having been declared a regular working day in the Ukraine.
