The President of Vanuatu, Iolu Johnson Abbil Kaniapnin, has issued the Declaration of Public Holiday Order No.201 of 2011 (Republic of Vanuatu Official Gazette No.43 of 2011) which declares Thursday, November 10, 2011, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Vanuatu on account of the upcoming Samma Provincial elections.

The aforementioned declaration of Thursday, November 10, 2011, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Vanuatu on account of the upcoming Samma Provincial elections, is limited to Samma residents and is in addition to the previously-announced annual list of official non-working public holidays in Vanuatu for the calendar year 2011, as released late last year (2010-11-29).
