Bolivian President, Evo Morales, has announced that the Bolivian government was considering the declaration of a one-off non-working public holiday to coincide with the upcoming day of consultation (Día de Consulta) tentatively scheduled for the end of November 2012.
Last summer (2012-06-30), and after many aborted attempts (2009-09-14, 2009-05-11, 2009-06-26, 2009-07-30, and 2009-08-24), Bolivia's Minister of Planning and Development, Viviana Caro Hinojosa, had announced that the Bolivian government was considering the declaration of one-off non-working public holiday(s) during the upcoming national census (Censo Nacional de Población y Vivienda), which coincidentally, was then expected to take place in November or December 2012.
