Jordanian Public Holiday January 1st

Jordanian Prime Minister, Abdullah Ensour, has issued a circular decreeing an official non-working public holiday in Jordan on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, on the occasion of the upcoming western New Year.

The aforementioned announcement is in line with the list of official non-working public holidays in Jordan in previous years (29-Dec-2011 and 23-Dec-2010) although no official list of 2013 public holidays in Jordan have yet been released (27-Jan-2012).
