The government of Kazakhstan has announced that Thursday, October 25, 2012, had been declared a one-off additional bank holiday in Kazakhstan.

Earlier this month (2012-10-16), the government of Kazakhstan had declared Friday, October 26, 2012, as the date for the upcoming Kurban Ait (Feast of Sacrifice) nationwide non-working public holiday in Kazakhstan.

The aforementioned announcement, though, only applies to banks, the Central Securities Depository and the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.
