The Kuwaiti Cabinet has announced that the recently-reported dates of the non-working public holidays for the upcoming Eid al-Adha would be put on hold until the next Cabinet meeting on Monday, October 22, 2012.
Recent media reports from an unnamed CSC source indicated that the Kuwaiti public service would once again (2012-08-13) benefit from 5 consecutive days of non-working public sector holidays for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha, just as it did last year for Eid Al-Fitr (2011-08-22).
However, following the aforementioned Cabinet statement, it is rumoured that the Cabinet is likely to extend the upcoming Eid al-Adha public holidays for the remainder of the week, until Sunday, November 4, 2012.
