Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has issued a circular declaring Thursday, January 24, 2013, as the official non-working public holiday in Bahrain to mark the birthday of Prophet Mohammed for the Islamic year 1434.
Contrary to what happened last year (2012-02-01), for the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed for the Islamic year 1433, there was no need in 2013 for an additional, day in lieu, public holiday to be observed by government ministries, authorities and institutions.
