The Federal Government of Brazil, through its Ministério do Planejamento, announced the official list of 2013 Brazilian public holidays in yesterday's Diário Oficial da União (portaria número 3 de 3 de janeiro de 2013).
This list, contained in the "Portaria Nº 3 de 3 de janeiro de 2013", confirms the dates of the Easter-related public holidays with a surprise observance for Good Friday.
The Dia do Servidor Público (Civil Servants' Day), remains officially set on the fixed date of October 28, and will not be moved in 2013, as was the case 2 years ago (2010-12-03), but contrary to what happened in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012 (2007-12-28, 2008-11-12, 2009-11-10 and 2011-12-27).
