Bulgarian 2014 Public Holidays Announced

The Bulgarian Council of Ministers has released the full list of regular non-working public holidays and annual one-off bridge public holidays for the calendar year 2014 in Bulgaria.

As per the aforementioned announcement (Decision No.697 of 14 November 2013 for the reversal of holidays in 2014), signed by Bulgarian Prime Minister Oresharski, there will be a period of non-working public holidays in Bulgaria from May 1st to 6th, 2014, as well a one-off bridge public holiday on December 31, 2014.

As is customary, (2012-11-15, 2011-11-17, 2010-12-16, 2009-12-16, 2009-09-10 and 2009-02-19), these additional non-working public holidays will be compensated by the declaration of the same number of working Saturdays.
