The Consejería de Economía y Hacienda del Gobierno de Cantabria, Cristina Mazas Pérez-Oleaga, has signed and gazetted the list of 2014 annual non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain's Autonomous Region of Cantabria.

The aforementioned "Orden HAC/43/2013, de 30 de septiembre, de la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria, por la que se establece el Calendario de Fiestas Laborales para el año 2014 en el ámbito de la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria" was established in line with the dispositions of the Real Decreto 2001/1983, as amended by the Real Decreto 1346/1989.

In 2014, once again (2012-08-22 and 2011-08-12), the autonomy did not declare July 28 (Día de las Instituciones) as a public holiday, replacing it instead by a public holiday on July 25, 2012, (Santiago Apóstol).
