Egypt's Central Bank has announced that all Egyptian banks would be closed from October 14-17, 2013, inclusively, dates which have been declared bank holidays in Egypt on account of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) annual Egyptian bank and public holidays.
As per the aforementioned announcement, and the Friday/Saturday Egyptian weekend, work in Egyptian banks will resume on Sunday, October 20, 2013.
As is common (2013-07-21 and 2013-04-30), the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has also announced that it would be closed from October 14-17, inclusively, on account of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha annual Egyptian bank and public holidays.
