Honduras Football Public Holiday February 6

The President of Honduras' Footbal Federation, Rafael Callejas, has announced that Honduras' President, Porfirio Lobo, had agreed to declare a one-off non-working public holiday in Honduras on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, on the date of the upcoming US-Honduras football game.

As per the aforementioned announcement, this one-off non-working public holiday in Honduras will begin at 12:00 noon ("el miércoles 6, por la tarde, será feriado, para que la gente pueda ir a compartir con su Selección Nacional").

Last fall (2012-10-06), President Porfirio Lobo had moved the Día de la Raza public holiday from Monday, October 15, 2012, to Tuesday, October 16, 2012, to make it coincide with the Honduras qualification match against Canada.
