The caretaker Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, has announced that the upcoming Orthodox Easter Sunday non-working public holiday, would be observed on Monday, May 6, 2013.

The aforementioned announcement thus amends the list of official Lebanese non-working public holidays for the calendar year 2013 which was released (2012-11-30) at the end of last year, and is in addition to last month's announcement (2013-03-22) that the 2013 Western Easter Sunday non-working public holiday, would be observed on Monday, April 1, 2013.

The aforementioned announcement that the upcoming Orthodox Easter Sunday non-working public holiday, would be observed on Monday, May 6, 2013, was one of 3 memos released by the caretaker Prime Minister of Lebanon; the other 2 specifying that public institutions, government departments and municipalities would also be closed, as usual, on May 1st for Labor Day, and on May 3rd for Orthodox Good Friday.
