The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abba Moro, has announced that the Nigerian Government had declared Tuesday and Wednesday, October 15 and 16, 2013, as paid non-working public holidays throughout Nigeria on account of the upcoming annual Eid El-Kabir (Feast of Sacrifice).

After a one-year relapse (2012-10-22 and 2012-08-13), the Nigerian Government seems to have abandoned its previous practice of following the Libyan Muslim calendar (2007-09-14).
