The government of Nigeria's Ekiti State has declared Friday, April 26, 2013, as a one-off state work-free public holiday on the date of the burial of the late deputy governor, Funmilayo Adunni Olayinka.

One-off state public holidays are relatively common in Nigeria (2012-12-16, 2012-11-09, 2012-07-08, 2012-06-09, 2012-04-25, and 2012-04-09).
