Omani authorities have announced that the period of non-working public holidays, for the public sector and the private sector of Oman, of the upcoming 2013 Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) had been extended by 2 days, to last until Monday, August 12, 2013, inclusively.
Late last month (2013-07-31), following a decision issued by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the Civil Service Council, it was announced that the upcoming Eid al-Fitr public sector holidays for employees at the ministries, public authorities and other departments of the state administrative apparatus, would be from Wednesday, August 7, for 4 days.
