The Conselleria de Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya has gazetted the list of 2014 non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain's Autonomous Region of Cataluña.
The aforementioned list of 2014 public holidays in Spain's Autonomous Region of Cataluña is to be gazetted in the "ORDEN EMO/202/2013, de 22 de agosto, de la Comunidad Autónoma de Cataluña, por la que se establece el calendario oficial de fiestas laborables para el año 2014" (DOGC de 30 de agosto de 2013).
Earlier this summer (2013-07-24), the Conselleria de Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya had published the list of 2014 nonworking public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain's Autonomous Region of Cataluña.
For the calendar year 2014, the Autonomous Region of Cataluña has declared regional public holidays on September 11 (Diada Nacional de Catalunya) and on December 26 (Sant Esteve), as had already been the case for the past 2 years (2012-06-29 and 2011-05-16).
As per custom (2012-06-29, 2011-05-16, 2010-05-31 and 2009-06-05), Cataluña is the only Spanish region that does not observe Maundy Thursday as a public holiday, opting, instead, to declare Easter Monday (Dilluns de Pasqua) as a regional public holiday.
