The government of Tunisia (Présidence du Gouvernement) has finally announced that the upcoming 1435 Hijri Islamic New Year non-working public holiday in Tunisia would occur on Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
Last Friday (2013-11-01), as was the case last year (2012-11-12 and 2012-11-14), the office of the Prime Minister of Tunisia had announced that the upcoming non-working public holiday throughout Tunisia for the 1435 Hijri Islamic New Year would occur on either Monday, November 4, or Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
As per the Décret n°317-2011 (2011-04-04) there is only one day of public holiday associated with the Hijri New Year in Tunisia.
