The office of the Prime Minister of Tunisia has once again announced that the upcoming non-working public holiday throughout Tunisia for the 1435 Hijri Islamic New Year would occur on either Monday, November 4, or Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
As was the case last year (2012-11-12 and 2012-11-14), and as per the aforementioned announcement the announcement of the official date of the 1434 Hijri Islamic New Year non-working public holiday will be made on Sunday night, November 3, 2013.
As per the Décret n°317-2011 (2011-04-04) there is only one day of public holiday associated with the Hijri New Year in Tunisia.
