Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has issued a circular declaring Monday, January 13, 2014, as the date of the official annual non-working public holiday in Bahrain to mark the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed for the Islamic year 1435.
As was the case last year (2013-01-21), but contrary to what happened the previous year (2012-02-01), for the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed for the Islamic year 1433, there was no need in 2014 for an additional, day in lieu, public holiday to be observed by government ministries, authorities and institutions.
