Bangladesh's Cabinet Secretary, M Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, has announced that, at a regular cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, earlier today, the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Bangladesh for the upcoming calendar year 2015 was approved.
The aforementioned announcement of the official non-working public holidays in Bangladesh for 2015 (Notice No: 05.00.0000.173.08.005.12-246) does mention that the 2015 non-working public holiday in Bangladesh for the Prophet's Birthday (Eid-e-Miladunnabi) would occur twice; once in early January 2015 and once in late December 2015, and that both these dates would be official non-working public holidays in Bangladesh for 2015.
